![]() It all started when I tried to install a plugin and it failed, so I thought it was a problem that i didn’t update wordpress so I tried updating it and it failed too, and a maintenance page showed up so I tried to connect to FTP server to fix it because I saw YouTube tutorials say to delete the “.maintenance” file but I couldn’t connect. Connecting to the FTP Server Once you have filled all of the required information, scroll down and click Connect. So it sends the PORT command with the users local, un-routable IP address to the server: PORT 10,0,0,1,12,34 This command tells the server to connect to the address 10.0.0.1 on port 12256+34 3106 The NAT router sees this and silently changes the command to include the external IP address.
